Friday Apr 13, 2012
On a night when UFO's filled the sky and only by pure fate none of the members had gigs with any of the 26(estimate) other bands that they are also members, super group Think/Effect made there way to the Rubber Room. Comprised of members of Silo Effect and Think, these guys can bust out the jams. They might be robots? Enjoy. Sunday Apr 01, 2012
In this episode, Just Plain Ant, James Dangle and Drano of Just Plain Sounds stopped by the show. Radio Rubber Room's resident member of JPS, Damaged Andy was in the building and we got to here some killer new tracks from the collective. The last time Just Plain Ant was on the show, Hurricane Irene was blowing through. We lost power and the podcast. This time the weather cooperated and we made it through the whole show. Enjoy. This episode includes RVA Hip Hop from Just Plain Sounds Keep up with Radio Rubber Room on Facebook and Twitter.

Radio Rubber Room EP 55, People's Blues of Richmond
Saturday Mar 24, 2012
Saturday Mar 24, 2012
In Episode 54 The People's Blues of Richmond rocked the Rubber Room. These guys epitomize rock and roll; what it has always been and what it always will be. Their music is strait a head, pure expression. There was also an un-expected guest to the show. The infamous yet unknown rocker, Radly Rockwell stopped by unannounced. Apparently he's a pretty big deal. Or so he says. If you've ever heard the phrase, "rock n' roll is dead" this episode is proof that it's not. It lives and breathes in Richmond VA. Includes RVA Music from The Inflatables, Apache Radio, Downbeat Switch, Black Girls and Ghost Owls. Keep up with Radio Rubber Room at Facebook.com/RadioRubberRoom and @RadioRubberRoom on Twitter.

Radio Rubber Room EP 52, DigiPossum
Friday Mar 02, 2012
Friday Mar 02, 2012
In episode 52, Nathan aka DigiPossum joined the guys on the Rubber Room. Mr. Possum, like many musicians this day in age is a Renaissance man. As well as creating his own music, electronic influenced instrumental hip hop and dubstep, he also works as a light and sound tech. This episode is packed full of some killer RVA electronic music, including several tracks off of the recently released Richmond Electronic Collective, Vol. 1. Simon's mom release her new product, D.O.M.E., that she is currently pushing. She also split her show picks with a call in from Sarah of Sounds of RVA. If you love sausage gravy and cupcakes, you will love this episode. Enjoy! Make sure you keep up with Radio Rubber Room on Facebook and Twitter for updates and events.

Radio Rubber Room EP 46, DJ Williams Projekt
Friday Jan 20, 2012
Friday Jan 20, 2012
In episode 46 we had the pleasure of goofing off with the DJ Williams Projekt. These guys have a lot going on and have been a cornerstone of the music scene in Richmond over the last eight years. The DJ Williams Projekt is an epicenter of a musical web that spreads out all over the place. It was funny to learn that the whole band will be playing camp barefoot with other projects but not as the Projekt. Insanity. We were very happy that the guys drew some spontaneous inspiration from a member of our show. Everyone loves Simon's Mom but these guys really did and wrote and played a song dedicated to her on the spot. She is an inspiring lady. EP 46 includes RVA Music from Proverbial, Downbeat Switch, Muelle, The Dream Machine, Black Girls and No Dice. Enjoy! Keep up with Radio Rubber Room on Facebook and Twitter

Friday Jan 13, 2012
In episode 45, bass/cajon/funk duo Boxwave joined us on the show. Fresh out of the studio, we previewed a track from their soon to be released album, Broad Street Grease. The guys busted out some live jams as well. Check it out and be ready for 100% of your daily dose of fiber and find out why a 1/10 of a penny saved may not necessarily be a 1/10 of a penny earned. Enjoy Includes RVA Music from Grinding Stone, After Nasa, Silo Effect, Dane Ferguson, Marionette, and Psychobilly Cadillac. Radio Rubber Room EP23, Be Sharp Duo, hilarious
Friday Aug 05, 2011
Friday Aug 05, 2011
In this episode, Evan Howard and Kevin Bleakley of Be Sharp Duo joined us in Ashland, VA for some sub-par radio fun. They brought some cool tunes. We covered several duo related topics such as: listening to music together, playing music together and eating hot dogs, together. Shaun's incoherent drunken babble garnered tons of laughter and plenty of confusion. New Content: Juan Mc Rameirez's Super Nipple Shield & Pep Powder We would like to apologize for the late posting of this podcast. Dan thought it necessary to wash the show. By wash it we don’t mean edit it. He actually washed it. The jump drive that the file was saved on took a trip in one of his pockets through the washing machine. Who knew he actually did laundry? Luckily the drive dried out in a bowl of rice and the show was saved. Enjoy. Song list 1) The Trillions - Ctrl-C Ctrl-V 2) Be Sharp Duo - En Fuego 3) The Dream Machine - Dead Man’s Tongue 4) Be Sharp Duo - Flying on Electricity 5) Psychobilly Cadillac - Out of Mind 6) Downbeat Switch - Room to Breath 7) Be Sharp Duo - Let Go 8) Proverbial - What I’m Good For 9) Be Sharp Duo - Caution 10) Black Girls - Broadway

Radio Rubber Room EP20, Silo Effect, Hilarious
Tuesday Jul 05, 2011
Tuesday Jul 05, 2011
In this weeks episode Matt Hughes and Steve Owen from Silo Effect joined us in-studio to talk about their music, play some tunes and goof off with the guys. This was Manzelli and Simons last show so the guys gave them a farewell during "Simon Says" so they can move to New York and get gay married. Matt and Steve awed and inspired the guys with their impressive festival performance experience and vast catalog of mind altering music. Silo Effect talked food, local restaurants/venues and the possibility that Dan's enormous head is proof he is really a human/alien hybrid. TRACK LIST 1) Proverbial - End Is Never 2) The Kindling Kind - Wild Child 3) Peoples Blues Of Richmond - Only Insane 4) Brand New Groovment - Girl In The City 5) PsychoBilly Cadillac - Out Of Mind 6) The Good Birds - John Henry
