This week was episode number 69(no giggling please) and The Inflatables floated through the station. In episode 40, Boxwave commemorated it by bringing everyone Colt 45. In episode 60, Barrelhouse brought some Dogfish Head 60 Minute. Luckily The Inflatables didn't do anything to special related to this episodes number. They did however bring some killer tunes, all of which you should be looking for soon on their follow up release to, "Dirty Looks From The Dog." Before listening, guess how many weird laws were broken and in how many states. Go. This episode includes RVA Music from Night Idea, The Dream Machine, The Atkinsons, Horsehead, People's Blues of Richmond and The Good Birds. Keep up with Radio Rubber Room on Facebook and Twitter.

In the last episode of Radio Rubber Room, the guys welcomed their first ever Northern, VA quartet - Stomp Status. Stomp Status is a four-piece Jazz/Funk hybrid that formed amidst the halls of the George Mason Music Department. Though young, these promising musicians exhibited the high level of knowledge of instrumentation and composition you'd expected from music majors. Derrick was absent in this episode, but Brian Riley was gracious enough bless the show with his presence, metaphorically stuffing his giant feet into Derricks tiny little shoes. Besides this episodes awesome music, the show amusingly disastrous and will inevitably be destroyed once the government catches wind of it's existence. Listen before it's too late!

What a splendid show with Splendid Suns. This group has a unique sound that needs no label. They gave a live preview of the album they are about to get hard to work on. These kids are a blast. Listener Note: If you like this band, absolutely do not throw bacon in a river or any body of water in their presence. They will jump in and sink to the bottom. That would be tragic. This episode includes RVA music from Tina Marie & Vinyl Tease, The Trillions, Downbeat Switch, The Shack Band, Marionette & Gypsy Healers. Enjoy.
